'The five songs that comprise Suicide City’s debut EP are very well written metal songs. I am not just saying this, as I am very picky with the metal that I listen to. I can usually only get into metal bands that don’t sound like the typical metal bands that only screams and sound like death. Suicide City does not fall under this category due to their immaculate song writing and ability to mix singing with the screaming. Even the screaming is amazing because when you get Karl and Billy screaming together it sounds like it’s in perfect harmony.'

SUICIDE CITY REVIEW - PULSE WEEKLY
'Suicide City’s debut EP is actually a stunning five-song collection of well-produced and blistering metal. The chant choruses make the music that much more appealing because there’s really nothing greater than hearing those catchy screams. The angry sound, combined with the superior musicianship of the seasoned vets in the band make the sound that much more appealing. This record is a only a five-song EP, but it’s an EP that leaves an appetite for more. What the band is promising on this EP better be delivered on a full-length, because it’s a lot. With the elements of pop mixed in with the bulk of the heavy metal sound, Suicide City may be on to something big.'

SUICIDE CITY LIVE REVIEW - EAST COAST ROMPER
'The guys play from the heart and you know they will go far in the business, but they have that "fun attitude", they just draw the crowd closer'
'SUICIDE CITY brings a fun outlook to music, but still shells out passion, aggression and an unbelievable stage show. I think all vocalists should learn back flips for the endings of their sets. Like I said before, best unsigned band which will be national very soon if labels could wake up. Everyone needs to check them out.'

SUICIDE CITY LIVE REVIEW - PIERCING METAL
'Yet the group seems tight in their delivery as they assault you with songs from their EP. They were also a lot of fun to watch as no one stood still for very long on the stage. Energy was par for the course and as a matter of fact the lead singer continually did back flips. I was impressed seeing that executed given the stage size and having other band mates in such close proximity. Karl certainly has a great amount of stage presence. The remaining members are rounded out by Dan (drums) and AJ (guitar). At present the band is not signed but they do have a CD EP available at shows. Fans of Billy and Jens work might like to check them out to see what else their favorite artists are capable of doing.'
